The City of Forsyth is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Assistant City Manager/Planner, which is responsible for providing assistance and support to the City Manager including analyzing and implementing policies and procedures; overseeing intergovernmental relations in the area of service delivery and legislative issues; and providing responsible staff assistance to the City Manager, City Council, and department heads. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (Β.Α.) in City, Urban, Regional Planning, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or three to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Α Master’s Degree in Planning or a related field is preferred.
