AREA AGENCY ON AGING TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PLAN FOR AGING SERVICES

 The Area Agency on Aging (AAA), a division of the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, is holding a public hearing to receive input on the needs of elderly and disabled persons in Middle Georgia:

Older adults, caregivers, community members, and organizations interested in learning more about the Aging services area plan for SY 2025, are encouraged to attend.  It is an opportunity to inform the Area Agency on Aging of gaps in area plan and make suggestions for improvement.

Anyone requiring an interpreter for sign language, or a language other than English must contact the AAA at 478-751-6466 or communicate by email to Michael Huckaby at mhuckaby@mg-rc.org at least three days prior to the event date.

Individuals are welcome to send written comments on Aging services, which must be postmarked within five days of the scheduled meeting date, to the Middle Georgia Regional Commission, Area Agency on Aging, ATTENTION:  Michael Huckaby, Director of Aging Services, 175 Emery Highway, Suite C, Macon, GA  31217.
