The Middle Georgia Regional Commission was instrumental in re-negotiating the GIS software Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) with the Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) on behalf of the Georgia Association of Regional Commissions. This agreement allows all Regional Commissions in Georgia to access Esri’s latest GIS software products and premium features such as Business Analyst Online and Esri Maps for Office.  The GARC – Esri ELA also provides Regional Commission GIS staff with ongoing professional development through certified training opportunities and conference credits.
