The Middle Georgia Regional Commission (MGRC) is accepting nominations for three positions (Posts 3, 4, and 5) on the Middle Georgia Revolving Loan Fund Loan Administration Board.

About the Loan Administration Board
The Middle Georgia Revolving Loan Fund Loan Administration Board consists of five members appointed by the Executive Committee of the Middle Georgia Regional Commission. The Board serves as a technical advisory group to the Executive Committee regarding the management and administration of the Regional Commission’s revolving loan programs.
Middle Georgia Regional Commission Council members, family members of Council members, and family members of Regional Commission employees are not eligible for appointment.

Appointment Process
Middle Georgia Regional Commission Council members may nominate candidates for the Loan Administration Board. The MGRC Executive Committee will select Board members. The selection process may include an interview with candidates.
Member Terms and Qualifications
Loan Administration Board members serve three-year terms and may be eligible for reappointment.
Candidates must:
- Reside in one of the following Middle Georgia counties:
Baldwin, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Macon-Bibb, Monroe, Peach, Putnam, Pulaski, Twiggs, or Wilkinson - Have at least five years of professional experience or education in one or more of the following areas:
- Internal controls
- Financial risk management
- Commercial lending
- Legal issues related to commercial lending
- Corporate governance
Candidates may be currently employed or retired from a related field.
Board Responsibilities
The Loan Administration Board reviews and provides recommendations regarding the Middle Georgia Regional Commission’s revolving loan programs. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and analyzing loan applications for the Economic Development Administration Revolving Loan Fund (EDA RLF) and other loan programs established by MGRC
- Recommending investment of revolving loan funds to the Executive Committee
- Reviewing loan servicing actions and recommending portfolio management actions
- Reviewing and recommending appropriate loan-loss reserves
- Advising on other matters related to the management of MGRC’s loan portfolio
All recommendations from the Loan Administration Board must be presented to and approved by the MGRC Executive Committee before becoming final.
Meetings
The Loan Administration Board generally meets on the second Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. to review loan applications and servicing requests. Meetings may be cancelled when no action is required.
