The Regional Commission Was Pleased To Receive A National Association Of Area Agencies On Aging (N4a) Achievement Award For Dialysis Transportation Services. The Dialysis Transportation Program, Initiated In 2017, Promotes Access To Healthcare And Continued Independent Living Of Older Adults Through The Provision Of Transportation Services To And From Regularly Scheduled Dialysis Treatments. The Program Began With Four Participant Riders And Doubled To Eight Riders By The End Of FY 2019.
